Bio

It’s a bit complicated to start this bio since my background involves interlaced aspects of three areas of my life with Art, Music, and self-development or a spiritual path. 

I will synthesize us much as possible.

My family lineage involves the scientific and creative worlds. On my father’s side, Engineers, Architects, Diplomats, Bankers, Land owners, and businesses owners. 

On my mothers side; Musicians, Actors, Lawyers and the Arts in general, to an amazing and inspiring levels.

I have 41 years of experience in areas of Spiritual practices of Yoga, Meditation and various Initiations and teachings from Ancient Knowledge and Spiritual Teachers plus the studies and trainings into Martial Arts; 49 years of Art, (gustavoschmidt.com) and Music, (soundspacemedia.org); which has created an introspection into deeper aspects of Creative Consciousness, area of familiar ground to me.

I remember being a baby on my mother’s chest; memory is a funny thing, I do remember the feeling of being handled into uncomfortable positions and the humid feel of the house in a narrow street, the lack of light although in general, there were good memories with some images. The next house a year later had more light, and a more expansive loving energy. Images of crawling on the floor before starting to walk, one day I put my finger in the electric socket; (in Chile, electric sockets are round so is easy for a baby to put the fingers inside, they are not like American ones which are with a vertical slid)…. It does makes me wonder though how many babies must have been “roasted”, but I was lucky although cried a lot though while these adults laugh about it….

I was fiddling with the microscope examining lizards while drawing images of what I would see under the lens; playing with chemistry sets and creating different fires of different colors while inviting friends over to have fun with these exciting “toys”. 

In those years, at six years of age in school I started with Judo. This allowed me to experience and understand my body and gravity; how to handle my body differently, I felt I have discovered something very exciting. Also in the same period, I would draw a lot, as well as intending playing piano, Recorder flute and acoustic nylon guitar. 

I was given some posters about the body, its organs, bones, and muscles.  I would spend my days examining anything that I would get my hands into that I would put under the lens. I took over an empty room in the backside of the house, which I called “my Laboratory”. On another room I created a self-made set for weights too as well to train my body and make it stronger. Later on at school I would enjoy playing Rugby and Tennis; a loving example legacy of my father who apart from being an engineer and Professor at the University was one step below professional level as a Tennis player. He also, I discovered later, what’s called in America a “Water Diviner” or Dowser. This is referred to a special type of skill in certain people that have the ability can discover underground water deposits by using rods or wooden sticks that would Interface with electromagnetic frequencies of the area; my father’s siblings had farms and they would often call him so they can now where to build a well, the special difference about him was he would just walk and “sense” without using anything. In the same family off extra sensory perception, my mother has the ability to have precognitive dreams; her lucid dreams are many times perceptions on events in time that would happen; she was a serious concert pianist who was already playing with Philharmonic Orchestra in Santiago at age 17. These two pieces of information completed later on the puzzle on my self-discovery road as a Healer, Medium and Psychic. 

At school, at 10 years of age, I was selected as a lead actor-singer in a musical, which ended up winning a competition among British schools in Santiago Chile. This won the competition among four schools and took me to the television, an interview that created a very high self-esteem and a different awareness of myself. Some few months later, and after being sick for a whole summer, I learned to paint. This would transport me into different places in my imagination. This experience grew in interest to me and I became obsessed as well as playing various instruments in music and mastering more skills with my body and trainings in different Martial Arts, which carried along until after high school. After graduation from high school, I got accepted into the Escuela de Arte (Art School) at the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile. It was in second year of that Bachelor’s degree program that I got also accepted as well into their Escuela de Musica (Music Conservatory school) in the same institution for Classical Piano. I participated in bands, shows, exhibitions, had awards and honors in competitions as well as performing across the whole country in very successful and known bands which became iconic in those years in the rock music scene in the country. 

At the same period, Yoga, Meditation and various other trainings into spiritual knowledge and different Martial Arts, I became more aware and grounded into mind-body mechanics. In 1990, after my experiences from Chile’s changing society into the opening to democratic elections after 18 years of my dictatorship coma I arrived to New York City in which I got involved in understanding the culture, the new environment and the new life on a city which now I call home. 

I took part as a subject of study of how Brainwave activity functions in states of deep Meditation levels at a Neuroscience Laboratory in New York City in 1992; information that reassured me on the very special circumstances I had experienced since back in Chile, on my sensorial perceptions and of how I understand and experience reality.

In New York City, I continued advancing in all three aspects of who I am and what interests me; the reality of the Spiritual path, and my insertion in it doing work and training in several levels of Consciousness and community; in Art and my growth as an Artist, and taking classes with renown Jazz pianists and teachers. 

Now living in a city where there are 8 million people in its five boroughs, 26,000 restaurants, 210 different cultures and 800 different languages, my experience of thirty two years of has continued growing doing Art exhibitions, having my Art work in Private and Public Collections worldwide; performed and recorded my Music and Piano with original compositions in various areas from recitals, music compositions for Film, Video, Theatre and Choreography; and in my Spiritual path having become part of the Karnak Initiations Lineage (ex White Brotherhood of Light), Healer with Reiki as well as Rising Star modality, Prema Birthing Healing, Spiritual Teacher, Medium and Psychic; now experiencing an understanding psychology from various different trainings that range from Men’s groups, Psychology, and teachings from ancient spiritual paths. 

The meeting of who would be later on my spiritual teacher for 15 years, Derek O’Neill, Self Realized Gran Master Reiki, Kriya Yoga Swami, Therapist and Judo Juror for the Japan’s Olympic Games at 16 years of age, and by who’s example as a Humanitarian and Philanthropist; creating Hospitals for Animals, Schools, Hospices for abandoned children and various diverse humanitarian projects in 13 different countries; has created an impression on thousands how to live a life of integrity and service to others has helped me transforming my life into an ongoing state of synchronicity between my needs and a reality of happiness through creative service to others. 

These very eclectic path with experiences involving several different disciplines and challenges, have propelled me into sharing my story and helping others into shaping their own reality into integration, Truth, Non Violence, Peace, Love and Right Actions.
